Now that the first study cycle (2019–2023) has been completed and most of the data evaluated, a summary report of the findings is available. The findings are clear, but also sobering: South Tyrol is one of the biodiversity hotspots of Central Europe, with an impressive diversity of species and habitats. However, this wealth is coming under increasing pressure. A detailed summary of the research results, new findings and surprising insights, as well as proposals for targeted measures to protect biodiversity – all this can be found in the 5-year report.
It is available as a PDF in German and Italian.
