Festival for Urban Nature in collaboration with WWF Trentino Alto Adige: on Sunday, October 4th, WWF Italy will remind us of the importance of wild nature within cities.
From Friday to Sunday, the Museum of Nature South Tyrol, Eurac Research and the Provincial Office for Nature will offer a Bio Flash with the App iNaturalist on the subject of urban nature. Interested people take pictures of wild plants, animals, mushrooms and lichens within the urban area and send the photos to the platform iNaturalist. At the same time natural history guided tours in the city area of Bolzano take place.
Guided tour in German language on Sunday, 4th October 2020 at 10:30 a.m. with Thomas Wilhalm, Conservator for Botany at the Museum of Nature South Tyrol (the tour lasts max. 1,5 hours) within the city area of Bolzano. Guided tour in Italian language at 4.45 p.m. with Andreas Hilpold (Botany) and Matteo Anderle (Zoology) of Eurac Research. The guided tours take max. 1.5h.
Registration required, maximum 10 persons (children from 6 years). The meeting point will be announced with the registration.
