The colloquium will take place ONLINE (YouTube) and in German language on June 9 at 6:00 pm.
The aim of habitat mapping is to systematically record ecologically relevant habitats in South Tyrol. The mapping is the basis for the impact assessment of projects, for the planning of conservation and enhancement measures and for the periodic reporting on the conservation status of species and habitats according to Natura 2000. Priority is given to wetland habitats and dry sites protected under the Nature Conservation Act. All other ecologically interesting habitats are also mapped.
The speaker Ulrike Gamper has been working in the provincial administration since 2007, currently in the Office for Nature, and deals among other things with Natura 2000 and nature conservation for the areas of flora and habitats.
